I've been an Outdoor Recreation Planner for 12 years. I've worked with several of our Wilderness Areas, dispersed recreation, and high use recreation areas (currently at Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument). For the majority of my time as an Outdoor Recreation Planner I have also been the Volunteer Coordinator for my field office and the Lead Volunteer Coordinator for New Mexico State BLM.
My passions are in interpretation and outreach, and I hope to focus more on this in the Monument I'm currently planning for. Much of our recreation occurs in remote areas so integrating interp technology has not happened quite yet. I'm really looking forward to what we can do to make our site state of the art as well as offering distance learning tech to those who can't make it to our location.
